 Bread (Banana) Pudding

Ingredients

Sweet Milk Bread

Fresh cream milk

Sugar

Egg

Vanilla Essence

Cardamom powder

Raisins

Nutmeg powder

Cinnamon powder

Banana or any sweet fruits (mashed)

3 cups

1 cup

1

1 tsp

½ tsp

1 tbs

¼ tsp

¼ tsp

1 cup (optional)

 Method

Boil the milk and when it is thick put off the fire and cool. Remove the crest of the bread slices and soak them in milk for 30 minutes. Take a bowl and beat the egg, sugar and vanilla essence well. Mix the cardamom, nutmeg and cinnamon powders to this and then pour onto the soaked bread. You may spread mashed banana or similar sweet fruits without sourness on this if you desire. On top of this, you may also pour custard milk if you want. Over this spread raisins. Either you may put this into a pudding mould and steam cook as done for puddings or you may preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit and bake after pouring this into a pre-greased baking dish. It may take at least 30 minutes to 1 hour to cook or bake. Do the needle piercing test before taking out and cooling. Refrigerate and serve.
